The series was developed within the framework of the Prospective Standardization Program for 2023-2030 and entered into force on February 1, 2025.
The documents regulate the digitalization of housing and communal services and the introduction of digital technologies in apartment buildings. The largest series of standards was developed by the Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization for the Promotion of the Development of Digitalization of Apartment Buildings "Smart Apartment Building" (ANO "Smart MKD") together with key participants in the digitalization market of construction and housing and communal services, as well as federal executive authorities. The introduction of standards into operation will be the first step towards creating a safe and comfortable environment in residential buildings, which will improve the quality of life of citizens and increase the availability of services for them.
" This environment will be based on the use of high-tech domestic equipment and software. The demand for such trusted solutions in our country is growing ," added Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Vasily Shpak.
According to the latest data from ANO Smart MKD, the ERZ.RF portal and the Korol Media marketing agency, more than 2/3 of potential buyers of apartments in new buildings would like to use smart home systems. At the same time, less than 5% live in such houses.
"A unified systemic approach to the digitalization of apartment buildings will provide the opportunity to introduce modern "digital services" and services for Russians in any region of our country. The formation and implementation of solutions for the digitalization of apartment buildings is the result of joint interdepartmental work within the framework of the implementation of the Smart Apartment Building project, the motives of which are the use of information technologies to increase the level of safety of Russian citizens, improve the comfort of their living, and reduce the cost of using "digital solutions" , - noted Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities of the Russian Federation Konstantin Mikhailik.
More than 30 participating organizations and 150 experts of the ANO Smart MKD ecosystem, as well as government bodies and specialized communities, were involved in the work on creating standards. This approach guarantees industry support for the application of documents in practice.
