The ExpoElectronica and ExpoCifra team took part in GITEX Global 2024 — the 44th International Exhibition of Information Technologies of the Persian Gulf Region

Negotiations were held with representatives of Russian business at the stands of the city of Moscow, the Russian Export Center, the Moscow Export Stand, as well as with collective expositions of several countries and other international participants of the exhibition. The purpose of the visit was to promote the new international exhibition in Russia ExpoCifra in the Middle East and Southeast Asia market.
ExpoCifra 2025 is an exhibition of information technologies and solutions for digital transformation. It is a platform for specialists whose professional interests are related to information technologies and digitalization of business and production.
The range of technologies that can be presented at ExpoCifra is wide: from cloud solutions to artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, which reflects the versatility and dynamism of the modern market, as well as the intention of the exhibition organizers to create a business platform in Russia similar to the GITEX exhibition in Dubai. The key element of the exhibition will be advanced solutions that help optimize business processes and increase production efficiency.
At the GITEX exhibition in Dubai, according to the director of the exhibition Rimma Mangusheva, 80% of the participants in the negotiations showed interest in the Russian market as a whole and in the new opportunity to declare themselves in our market: “I can note that potential international partners are interested in details about the Russian market in various areas, what opportunities there are now for foreign companies, what support from the Russian state can be counted on, what areas are open, whether Russian companies are ready to do business with foreign partners and build cooperation . ”
Participation in such large-scale international exhibitions is an important part of the strategy for promoting ExpoElectronica and ExpoCifra exhibitions and creating a positive image of the Russian hi-tech market in the international arena in order to attract both potential exhibitors and end consumers of Russian solutions.
"This year, the team managed to hold about 200 negotiations at various levels, I am sure that our work will be a good contribution to the development of the high-tech industry in Russia. I would like to especially note that Russia is represented at this event at a very high level, and this speaks of good prospects for the development of cooperation between Russia and the countries of the Middle East and Southeast Asia in the field of high technology and digitalization. And the ExpoCifra exhibition can serve as the best platform for establishing business partnerships for Russian companies and their foreign colleagues ," added Rimma Mangusheva.
The high level of Russia's representation is confirmed by the fact that during the GITEX Global 2024 exhibition, the official delegation of the Moscow Government headed by the head of the Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations (FEIR) Sergey Cheremin also held a number of meetings with potential partners and investors interested in joint projects in the field of information technology. Sergey Cheremin noted that cooperation with the UAE opens up new horizons for Moscow IT companies and creates opportunities for exchanging experience. The focus on the development of smart technologies and urban infrastructure will become the basis for strengthening bilateral ties.
Among the most striking examples of innovations of the Moscow Government are: the telemedicine platform, the Moscow Electronic School, Moscow Parking, the Digital Twin of Moscow, the personnel management system, the City of Ideas platform, the state tender system, taxi analytics, and others.
