On April 16, 2025, State Duma Deputy, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy D. B. Kravchenko paid an official visit to the International Exhibitions ExpoElectronica and ExpoCifra 2025, and got acquainted with the exposition of domestic manufacturers of computing equipment.

One of the main events of the first day was the session "Electronic industry in the context of global challenges" , during which the problem of financial burden on instrument makers as the most vulnerable link in the chain was highlighted. Thus, it is important to ensure protection of the market and demand for products from regulators.

The trend session "Electronics in UAS Development" attracted many industry specialists, the main topics for discussion were: the current state of affairs in the field of unmanned aircraft systems; the contribution of domestic enterprises of the electronics industry to the implementation of the national project for UAS development; the importance of the federal network of UAS research and production centers being formed as a mechanism for state assistance to regional firms, as well as the function of industry associations in ensuring horizontal integration of these firms between regions.

Next, a discussion session was held entitled “Electronics of Russia of the Future 2025. Vector for Localization” , during which measures to support domestic manufacturers of electronic component base (ECB) and radio-electronic equipment (REA) were discussed.

On the second day of the exhibition, the Electronica Arena hosted a trend session on "Electronic Engineering" . During the session, issues of development of Russian electronic engineering were discussed, including personnel, equipment and measuring instruments.

At the industry session "Investment Potential of Electronics in Russia and Friendly Countries", participants discussed the development trajectory of a technology company, starting with research and development and ending with an IPO. The role of public and private investors along this path, existing forms of support at various stages, and the possible interest of banks in participating in the development of such projects were discussed.

The trend session "Industry 4.0: robotics and automation" brought together many interested parties, where the development of Russian robotics was discussed. Evgeny Dudorov spoke about the consortium supporting Russian developers and manufacturers of robotics, and about key technologies in this area. The directions of state support for the development of industrial robotics for 2025-2027 were also presented.

The trend session "Data Economy" was one of the main topics of the second day of the Business Program, where issues related to the national project and its main goal - further digitalization of the state, strengthening technological independence and improving the quality of life of Russian citizens - were raised. Alexey Melnikov, CEO of Fplus, called the national project "Data Economy" a "basic document" of digital development. He emphasized that the project creates a predictable agenda and allows businesses to build a strategy for years to come. Instead of new incentives, the speaker called for strict compliance with current rules: "We need not guaranteed orders, but guaranteed compliance with laws. And no substitution of manufacturers!"

On the final day, the session "Notes on the sidelines of ExpoElectronica 2025. Discussion with manufacturers and consumers of electronic components" was held , during which the participants discussed the results of an industry survey on the use of domestic electronic components, conducted in the Electronica Connect digital community, and came to the conclusion that in order to achieve leadership in the field of electronic components, Russia needs to focus not only on regulation, but also on real innovative measures. To overcome the crisis, it is necessary to raise quality and service standards, create comfortable conditions for distributors and buyers.
