ExpoElectronica: In The Heart Of Digitalization And High Technologies

From April 15 to 17, Moscow will host one of the largest technology exhibitions in Russia and the EAEU countries — the international electronics exhibition ExpoElectronica 2025, together with the new exhibition of information technologies and solutions for digital transformation ExpoCifra

From April 15 to 17, Moscow will host one of the largest technology exhibitions in Russia and the EAEU countries — the international electronics exhibition ExpoElectronica 2025, together with the new exhibition of information technologies and solutions for digital transformation ExpoCifra

This year, guests and participants of the event will see several new products, which were told to the World of Robotics by the exhibition director Rimma Mangusheva and the member of the Board of the Robotics Consortium, the general director of the company InnoDrive, Maxim Gurbashkov.

Microelectronics is a critically important foundation for robotics in Russia and the world, noted Maxim Gurbashkov. Electronic components are required to create modules and units of robotics. At the same time, microelectronics itself is extremely interested in robotization as a tool for developing technologies and scaling production.

“The exhibition provides a platform for discussing the possibilities of development and realization of the mutual potential of both industries ,” emphasized Maxim Gurbashkov.

The total area of the exhibition will exceed 35 thousand square meters. More than 350 companies from Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, 300 from China and a number from the UAE, India and the Middle East are expected to participate. A separate place for the third time will be occupied by the Robotics Sector, organized jointly with the Robotics Consortium.

According to Maxim Gurbashkov, special attention in this part of the exhibition will be given to robotics components, including those produced using an electronic component base, education and training of personnel, software solutions, as well as ready-made complexes.

"Leading Russian companies and research institutes will present a wide range of robotic solutions, from industrial manipulators to service robots. Particular attention is paid to the development of artificial intelligence and control systems, which are an integral part of modern robotics ," Rimma Mangusheva noted in turn.

She also invited other participants to visit their stands dedicated to electronic components, equipment for electronics production, embedded and digital solutions. The exhibition's business program will combine key issues in microelectronics, radio electronics, robotics and digital technologies. Among them are trends and forecasts for the development of the industry, localization of production, development of electronic engineering, training of specialists and solving the problem of personnel shortage.

In partnership with the Robotics Consortium, the trend session "Industry 4.0 (robotics, automation)" will be held. Its key topics will be current challenges of production automation, the introduction of technologies in industrial production, systems for communications, transport and space industries. In addition, real cases of automation of production processes will be presented.

“Our plans include a discussion on the development of mutual potential both in terms of providing robotics with a trusted domestic component base, and in terms of robotization of microelectronics production, as well as the support and regulation measures required for this, steps to form and develop human resources, build cooperation and ensure technological independence ,” emphasized Maxim Gurbashkov.

Rimma Mangusheva also recommended paying attention to the expert session on trusted hardware and software systems (HSS), dedicated to current changes in government resolution No. 719, categorization of critical information infrastructure and successful examples of cooperation between developers and manufacturers.

One of the main innovations of 2025 will be the launch of the Electronica Connect Digital Business Community. According to the exhibition director, it will become a platform for interaction between participants and visitors of the event. The platform will unite developers, manufacturers, distributors, end users, integrators, service companies and other representatives of the electronics industry and related industries.

“The main mission is to create conditions for effective business communication, knowledge exchange and prompt access to up-to-date information about key market events throughout the year outside of exhibitions ,” Rimma Mangusheva emphasized.

The main tool of the community will be the Electronica Connect mobile application, which includes free matchmaking and lead scanning functions for exhibitors and visitors. "Matchmaking helps to find potential partners in advance, arrange meetings and establish contacts. Lead scanning allows you to quickly collect and systematize data on visitors and exhibitors. These are the tools that will increase the efficiency of participation and visiting the exhibition ," explained the exhibition director.

She added that the developers have ensured the highest level of security for the app's users. All data is securely stored on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Another innovation is the exhibition of information technologies and solutions for digital transformation ExpoCifra, which will be held in parallel with ExpoElectronica. It will satisfy the demand of the professional audience interested in ready-made domestic IT solutions, solutions for automation and digitalization of business and production.

The exhibition will be attended by Russian manufacturers of computing equipment, specialized PACs, telecommunications equipment, automation systems, office equipment and consumer electronics, and software developers for various areas of application from education to production.

“Electronics is the heart of digitalization and high technology, so we are confident that this symbiosis of topics at our exhibition will give Russian business even more opportunities for the development of technological and inter-industry cooperation, and therefore the technological independence of our country ,” Rimma Mangusheva concluded.
